Daily Routine

Here is the usual pattern for the school day. Timings during the day sometimes vary because of special events. Teaching Time:  21 hours at Key Stage 1  and 23.5 hours at Key Stage 2.

8.45am.  Gates open to children.  Please do not arrive at school before this time.  As a Healthy School, we encourage children to walk or cycle (children need a Cycle Permit to cycle to school - please ask at the school office).   If you come by car, please park in the British Legion Car Park, on Low Road. Please do not bring cars into Church Street, or park in such a way as to cause an obstruction, or danger to pedestrians or other road users.  Parents'/Carers' cars are not permitted on school premises, unless there are exceptional circumstances (please ask at the school office for more information).

8.55am.The school day begins for all children.  Children should be in the playground by this time, ready to line up and come into school with their class. If you are delayed, and the side gate is closed when you arrive, please accompany your child to the main entrance.  If you know that you are going to be late, please let us know, if possible.
