Church Schools are inspected every five years under the National Society's framework for the Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS) under Section 48 of the Education Act 2005.  Our school has been judged ‘outstanding’ for the third consecutive inspection– ‘outstanding’ in 2007, 2011 and again recently in 2016.

The Inspection looks at three key areas of a church school:

  • How well does the school, through its distinctive Christian character, meet the needs of all learners?
  • What is the impact of collective worship on the school community?
  • How effective are the leadership and management of the school as a church school?

Our most recent inspection took place in November 2016 and we were judged outstanding, in all areas, for the third consecutive inspection.

‘There are different ways to serve the same Lord, and we can each do different things.

Yet the same God works in all of us and helps us in everything we do.’

1 Corinthians 12:   5-6
