Milk In school

Barrowby School provides a School Milk Scheme available to all pupils, and we invite parents and carers to register their child to take part.

About the Scheme

  • Free for under‑fives: All children under the age of five receive school milk free of charge.

  • Subsidised rate for pupils aged five and over: Milk is available at a subsidised cost of 22p per day for children aged five or older.

  • Daily fresh milk: Every registered child receives a 189ml portion of fresh, chilled semi‑skimmed milk delivered directly to their classroom each day.

Milk provides essential nutrients and helps keep children hydrated and energised throughout the morning, supporting focus and learning.
