As you may know, we have been looking at the viability of establishing a ‘Breakfast Club’ at school. We are excited to be able to confirm that we will be running a ‘Breakfast Club,’ in Barrowby C of E Primary School, when we return in September; opening the first day of term: Wednesday 4th September 2019.
This will be called the ‘Old School Room Breakfast Club’ and will be open Monday to Friday, during term time from 7.45am.
Our Breakfast Club offers a healthy breakfast at affordable prices, including:
Throughout the Breakfast Club, the children will enjoy listening to stories and playing games as well as having the opportunity to ‘get active.’ During the session, the children will have full use of all of the school’s facilities including our adventure playground, trim trail, scooters as well as our new outdoor gym equipment; scheduled to be installed the 2nd and 3rd September 2019.
The daily cost for this provision is:
From 7.45 am - 8.45 am - £3.50 including breakfast
From 8.15 am - 8.45 am - £2.00 no breakfast
If you would like to book your child a place at the ‘Old School Room Breakfast Club’ for the week commencing Wednesday 4th September and week commencing Monday 9th September then please complete the booking form below, and return this to the school office along with your payment for these sessions, by Friday 19th July 2019.
At present, we are only accepting bookings with payment by cash or cheque payable to
‘Barrowby School’, at the time of booking.
We are hoping that when we return to school, in September there will be an online booking system for the Breakfast Club available through ParentmailPMX. Unfortunately, this is still in the development stage and is expected by Parentmail to be ready for release in August. With this new system you will be able to book and also pay for the Breakfast Club provision using a debit/credit card, via your ParentmailPMX. As soon as we have details of this we will let you know.
We hope that this new provision will continue to enable all our pupils to ‘shine’ and enhance the opportunities available to them as they continue to ‘strive for excellence.’
