Cinematheque 2013/14
The Cinematheque program is run all over the world, but in the UK is only open to participants in London, Lincolnshire and Scotland. Barrowby CE Primary School are very proud to have taken part in this academic year.
A group of six children from Year 5 have been working with Mrs Webster and Mrs Morris every Friday night to create films and learn about films from a whole new perspective. This years theme was 'The Long Take'. We began by each creating a short minute long film to capture a moment in time and then extended this to creating a film that was still and then repeated with movement.
Our final film was written, created, directed and put together by the children and then shared on the big screen at the BFI in London on June 27th. A truly memorable experience!
