May 11th, Week 8: African Art and Culture

African Culture

Over the past couple of weeks, we have been able to explore the beautiful landscape and amazing animals! This week dives into African Culture, by exploring its Art History and Music.

Remember to have fun with your learning, use the Pick'n'Mix style to support your home learning - Explore the classpages, BBC Bitesize (use the RED button on your TV) and The Oak National Academy website.

Use the email - Year3Teacher@barrowby.lincs.sch.uk - To come say hello, update me with your learning, sending photos/videos or asking me for support! I look forward to hearing from you all!

Choir Invisible sings songs from Agape Children's Choir

Listen to some African songs and see if you can spot a familiar face or two!

Each week aim to do some of the activities from each section. It's particularly important that Maths and English activities form a little bit of each 'school' day. Remember, there are still lots of links for activities and other things to explore in the 'Home Learning' section on our main class page.

This weeks activities.
