Safer Internet Day 2016

Barrowby CE Primary School is supporting 'Safer Internet Day 2016.'

On Tuesday 9th February, the school joined hundreds of other organisations across the UK in promoting  the safe and responsible use of technology.

The theme, this year, is ‘Play your part for a better internet,’ offering the opportunity to focus on both the creative and positive things that children and young people are doing online, as well as the role that we all play in helping to create a better internet.

At Barrowby CE Primary School, e-safety continues to be an important and integral part of our curriculum.

On Tuesday, our Key Stage 2 children joined together to focus on how to use the internet safely in a special assembly.  Throughout the day, all classes reviewed our school's 'E-Safety Rules' and took part in a range of activities to promote e-safety.

At the end of the day, all children were given a copy of our school's ‘E-Safety Leaflet,’ which we hope will provide further support and guidance for our parents so that all children can continue to enjoy the internet safely at home.
