Barrowby CE Primary School’s Self Evaluation is a robust and rigorous process, reflecting all elements of the school’s vision, values and beliefs. 

There are different ways to serve the same Lord, and we can each do different things.
Yet the same God works in all of us and helps us in everything we do. 1 Corinthians 12:   5-6

Our self-evaluation process supports the Leadership & Management, of our school, to celebrate our strengths as well as highlight the areas for whole school development.  This year, 2026-2027, our key priorities are to:

1. Enhance progression and challenge in SPAG and  Mathematics to increase the number of pupils achieving higher standards.
2. Embed effective assessment practices that inform ambitious teaching and targeted challenge, enabling more pupils to attain higher standards.
3. Further embed inclusive systems and practices to ensure every pupil can fully access, participate in and succeed in all aspects of school life.
