Teaching Assistant
For September 2024, we are seeking to appoint a skilled, enthusiastic and flexible teaching assistant, who is hardworking and energetic, and who has high expectations of pupils and a good sense of humour and fun.

Duties will include:
• getting the classroom ready for lessons
• listening to children read, reading to them and telling them stories
• helping children who need extra support to complete tasks
• helping teachers to set up learning activities and record student progress
• supporting teachers in managing class behaviour
• supervising group activities
• taking part in training

Midday Supervisory Assistant

Duties will include:
•    Prepare rooms for dining, including setting out tables and chairs, as appropriate and distribute meals and serve water/milk where required.
•    Clear tables and collect rubbish, wash and stack away tables, chairs, water jugs and clean dining area as required.
•    Supervise child/ children while eating, in the playground, classrooms, corridors, cloakrooms, toilets, etc and escort child/children between premises where necessary.
•    Organise play-based opportunities and supervise child/children when playing.
•    Act as a First Aider.
