Week 14 - Sports Week!
This week is Sports Week! So we are setting you loads of sport themed challenges to have a go at! Although you are not in school at the moment, we would like to encourage you to take part in our school events we would usually be doing and let us know how you get on!
Monday would be Sports Day! Have a go at dribbling a ball or a football around a small obstacle course and let us know your personal best score!
Wednesday would have been your Key Stage 2 House Tournament! This year we are doing an obstacle course and seeing which house can complete the course the fastest. Make your own course inside or outdoors and let us know how quickly you can complete it!
Friday we would usually be taking part in the Danceathon! Pop on some tunes and dance around the house at some point in the afternoon. Let us know your favorite song to dance to so we can dance along too!
For more ideas on how to take part in this fun and active week register with the Youth Sport Trust. Registering couldn’t be simpler. Just go to their website www.youthsporttrust.org/nssw and click on the link for parents. You will be asked a couple of questions as you register about who you might challenge and how many people you would like to get involved.
After signing up they will provide you with free and easy-to-use resources to help plan your week of National School Sport Week at Home Activity, set challenges for your families, friends and neighbours, and shout about it online. Enjoy!
As well as all this, have a go at some of the activities below which are all themed around different sports! Make sure you are still working on daily lessons by BBC Bitesize or Oak National Academy too! :)
